Coronavirus Update:
If You Are Having a Dental Problem, We Can Help!
Lakeside Center has always been and remains an extremely clean dental practice. Our team of dentists, hygienist and office staff are trained in OSHA standards for the cleanliness and sanitization of patient rooms and equipment used for patient. We use EPA-approved disinfectants that are specifically formulated for the healthcare industry to kill bacteria, viruses, and blood-borne pathogens. Our dental care team working in direct contact with patients all wear protective gear such as gloves, surgical-grade masks, and goggles. Each of us follows CDC recommendations for hand hygiene between appointments and after handling used dental tools and equipment.
Sanitizing and sterilization methods are practiced throughout our facility are designed specifically to maintain a safe and healthy environment for protecting our patients and employees. We also now screen our patients for temperature, travel history and presence of symptoms of Covid-19, prior to entering our offices, have designated areas to help maintain proper distancing and limit the number of patients in the office and waiting areas at any one time.
The American Dental Association currently encourages all elective dental appointments, such as preventive care and cleanings, be postponed until our Governor is able to lift the current shut downs. As a result, Lakeside Center for Implant Dentistry has been contacting patients to reschedule their upcoming check up. We understand this is a challenging time for everybody, and appreciate your patience as we navigate through this pandemic together.
Even in the wake of a pandemic, a dental emergency can occur which is precisely why our office remains open. Since dental pain can also be a sign of more serious conditions that could indicate an infection is present, these situations need to be handled quickly. If treatment is not sought, infections could spread or can even be life threatening.
In accordance with the Governor’s Executive order, we are open for and appointing for urgent aid for pain, infection, swelling, bleeding, broken teeth, seriously decayed teeth, inability to chew, denture problems and adjustments quid loose permanent or temporary crowns.
For any dental emergencies or need for urgent dental care, we are here to help. Should you of a family member have an urgent dental situation arise, please do not hesitate to contact our office to schedule an appointment as soon as possible
